Anti-slop basics for AI-assisted writing
AI is a drafting partner. You still owe the reader a human voice.
These basics match the public positioning of our Human Publisher Kit: fill-in systems and judgment, not prompt dumps.
Before you prompt
Write one ugly paragraph yourself. Name one reader. Decide the single outcome you want (reply, click, trust).
While you draft
- Ban generic openers and stacked hype adjectives.
- Prefer one concrete example over a list of abstractions.
- Keep claims you can defend; cut claims that only sound confident.
Before you publish
Read aloud. Rewrite the first and last lines by hand. If a stranger could paste the same text under another brand, it is not done.
